Hello, I’m Beth.

I’ve spent over two decades supporting organisations to translate complex sustainability information into clear, credible communications.

With a degree in Zoology and a master’s in Ecology and Environmental Management, I began my career with The Wildlife Trusts, then with the Environment Agency and NGOs such as WBCSD and TNFD.

For the past fifteen years, I’ve worked on award-winning transparency and corporate sustainability communications for more than 40 global brands and B Corps, partnering with some of the world’s leading communications agencies.

Why work with me?

I understand the delicate balance between engaging communications and those that stand up to scrutiny.

A big part of my work has been translating complexity – taking detailed sustainability information and shaping it into clear, robust language that tells a story.

In larger organisations, environmental claims are often reviewed by legal teams and sustainability specialists before anything is published. Having worked alongside these teams, I understand this level of scrutiny and how risk can sit in the detail.

At the same time, I’ve supported clients where that level of resource simply isn’t available – and where the power of storytelling leads engagement.

This combination of experience means I can:

  • navigate complexity without overcomplicating things

  • share clear guidance and recommendations

  • identify where specific wording may create risk or unintended meaning

  • help refine your message so it remains clear, accurate and credible

  • stand in your audience’s shoes and see how your message might land
